Atty. Marijane Cauthorn represents clients in cases involving family law and domestic disputes, probate matters and estate planning, criminal law, personal injury and business disputes. She also represents indigent criminal defendants through the Cobb County Circuit Defender’s office and is an approved guardian ad litem for the Probate Court of Cobb County.
A native of Atlanta, Atty. Cauthorn graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in management, with minors in marketing and industrial and organizational psychology. After graduation, Marijane worked as a paralegal for a small-town general-practice firm, handling mostly family law matters. She then worked as a paralegal for a mid-sized Atlanta firm in toxic tort defense. Atty. Cauthorn received her law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where she received the Georgia Association for Women Lawyer’s Outstanding Law Student Award.
Atty. Cauthorn is currently the managing attorney for Cauthorn Nohr & Owen. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Cobb County Bar Association, Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in Georgia Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
